Phil Thurston Tests The Aquatech Elite 7D2 Housing

Here’s a nice interview with some great sample photo’s by Phil Thurston, an Australian photographer whose work you will have seen featured here before.

He’s testing out the Aquatech Elite 7D2 housing for the Canon 7D Mark II and a couple of new ports, this is the updated system which is not compatible with the older LP range of ports that my CR-60 housing uses.

Check out the post for the sample photos which all include the settings and gear used, which is pretty interesting.

There’s some shots taken with the Canon 8-15mm fisheye and some (like the one above) with the Canon 50mm f1.2, and obviously the body used is the Canon 7D mk II.

Well worth a read for anyone interested in learning surf photography.
